Adults

Each Sunday morning at 9:30am, McKinney Street Baptist Church offers Bible study classes for every age group, from babies through those who have been chronologically gifted by God.  For those 12th grade and younger, we offer age-graded classes.  For the College-age, we offer a College and Career class.  For adults, we have several classes to choose from—choose the one that you feel most comfortable in whether it is by your age or your stage in life.

 Many of our Sunday morning Bible study classes use Lifeway materials for their study.  Some study one book of the BIble at a time. Periodically our adult classes as a whole will study a special workbook study, such as EKG: Empowering Kingdom Growth, The Purpose Driven Life, or Experiencing God.

 On Wednesday evenings at 7:00pm we have classes for all ages.  For our adults, we have many different workbook studies we do throughout the year.  Topics range from marriage to Christian living, from women’s Bible studies to group study of a book of the Bible. Choose what interests you at the time.  Current Bible studies are:

• Earning your Treasure in Heaven -- Wednesdays at 7pm 
• "To Live Is Christ" by Beth Moore -- at Lunch Bunch on Mondays at noon 
• R12 -- Wednesdays at 7pm -- study based on Romans 12.  See Women's Ministry page for more info.

Community Groups are meeting.  The goal of community groups is for the church to live together in Biblical community and to produce more fully devoted followers of Christ.  For more information on community groups, click here.  If you are interested in joining a community group, please click here to email Chas Shira with your name, address, phone, and evening or evenings that it is easiest for you to attend a small group.
