Youth

The Youth Ministry at McKinney St. Baptist Church strives to love students toward Christ. We do this through discipleship, mentoring, worship, evangelism, accountability, servant-hood, and building significant personal relationships with our students. We are looking towards improving our ministry to families and parents to help and encourage them on the difficult road of parenthood. Beyond our weekly ministries, we also have many special events where adult involvement is necessary. If you would like to know more about our youth ministry please feel free to call me or you can make an appointment with me at the office. As a church, we are always looking for ways to improve our ministries. I believe one of the best ways to do this is having the church’s involvement, your involvement, in the ministry.

Core Values

  1. We value the discipling of students to be active disciplers
  2. We value training students to present the Gospel in a clear and relevant way by instruction and modeling
  3. We value training students to worship in every aspect of life
  4. We value the creation of a “safe place” where all students will be truly loved as a part of the family of God
  5. We value training students to be servants by putting others' needs above their own, in humility

Weekly Youth Ministry Activities

Sunday School that Rocks - 9:30 a.m.

Every Sunday morning we meet in small groups to study God’s Word. Every small group is led by a dynamic adult that loves teenagers and desires to see them grow in God’s Word.

Wednesday Night - 7:00 p.m.

Wednesday nights are our large group worship services. We strive to create dynamic worship services that draw students' attention to God’s Word and His presence in our worship and their lives.
